I went and picked up my pre-order for God of War Collection today:
It also came with a download key for the E3 God of War 3 demo (Man I can't wait for that game). Sadly the 2.6Gb demo was only about 15min long, but hey, it's going to be a Kick-ass game nonetheless (I plan to get the Collector's Edition, I'll probably pre-order it in a few weeks).
Also RE4 and my play/charge kit for my Xbox arrived yesterday:
Good stuff there. I just cleared RE5 campaign today and I'll be looking forward to playing through RE4 again, when I get around to it... I say it all the time but so much good stuff is coming out this/next year and my backlog just keeps getting bigger and bigger. On top of that I still have over 800Gb on my anime backlog. So few hours in a day, and sadly the human body requires a bit of sleep every now and then (I also have college on top of everything else).

Late MW2 post
My MW2 LE Xbox came in the 10th, I was just too lazy to post -.-
Anyway, pics:
And a pic of it at my desk:
Oh, and I picked up a collector's edition copy of RE5 today at Gamestop along with a pre-order for God of War collections (GoW 1-2, remastered in 720p with trophy support = win):
GTO Semester 2 also arrived from rightstuff this week:
I've had the first semester for a while now, but have been waiting for this one to pop back up on RS so I could snatch a copy, and it finally did, after 8 months -.-
Good week, and I also have RE4 on order from Amazon, should arrive next week (best RE game, ever).

Another loot post
Well, overall yesterday was a good day. My new phone arrived in the mail (my old shitty phone needed an upgrade), and I'm liking it so far:
Found a good deal for a Limited Edition copy of the original Gears of War, picked up a few PS2 games that I've been meaning to get (I still have Xenosaga 2-3 and a lot of FF to re-obtain ;_;), and pre-orderd MAG in return for the beta code and the cool Tekken poster. I haven't tried out the beta yet but gamestop only requires you put $5 down on pre-orders, so essentially I paid $5 for the beta code (still not sure if I'll get the game, so much stuff still on my backlog to get).
I also went to Gamestop:
I also went ahead and paid $15 for a Gamestop membership while I was there. You get a 10% discount on all used games (which will pay for the membership over the course of a year anyway), and you get a 12 month subscription to Gameinformer (not like I need one when I can just get info from the internet, but hey, it's pretty much a free add on with the membership).
Anyways, good day, and less than 5 days until MW2 comes out...

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Yeah, I know, really late U2 post. It's been out 14 days already. Let's just say I revived from my U2 orgasm and am finally ready to post, anyways...
I picked this up at midnight the night it was released (Oct 13). This game had a lot of hype and a lot of expectations to live up to (Uncharted, anyone?). Needless to say, it didn't disappoint.
my copy of U2 an hour after releaseThe Uncharted games are games you're going to want to get if you have a PS3. And if you don't have a PS3, you're going to want to get a PS3 to play them. Yeah, shit is good. Given everything it had to live up to, it delivered, and some...
Firstly, you have this awesome game (not going to spoil shit here, there are like 8769876 reviews on the internet, and if you haven't read one of them then you've probably been living in a box, son).
On top of this "shits so cash, I just came from playing it, jizz my pants, fffffuuuuuu" single-player experience, you also have an extremely addictive online multiplayer with standard 5 vs 5 deathmatches, variations (capture the flag/treasure, ect) and a ranking/level-up system.
You thought I was finished? I didn't even mention the way this game looks, it's stunning. U2 is an incredibly beautiful and well-rendered game, one of the best looking games for the PS3. The lush environments and addictive gameplay will have you coming back for more, no doubt (I've played through the single player 3 times already, not to mention time spent online).
Replay value is high, the controls are very straightforward and easy to learn, it's an incredibly good-looking game, it's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Get it.
